Development Ledger BYOR

Development Ledger BYOR (Build Your Own Reports) is a form of reporting that allows you to select the criteria to be used in identifying the records, or constituent ledgers, to be included in your reports. The fields found in the criteria pages of the Development Ledger BYOR window are derived from the entry fields in the Constituent Ledger entry forms. The criteria selected in BYOR is matched to the values entered in the constituent ledgers. These reports do NOT include values from Development Batches.

To generate reports from Development Ledger BYOR:

From the CAMS Enterprise Home page, click Development >Reports >Ledger BYOR.
Establish a set of report parameters by selecting appropriate criteria in any of the criteria tabs of this window.

Ledger criteria tab. Select campaign type, gift/pledge source, dates for gifts or pledges, etc.
Constituent Donor criteria tabs. Select constituent type, grouping.
Summary criteria tab. Select summaries for gifts, pledges, etc. for a certain date range.

Click the Reports tab and select the desired report format. The displayed result will vary depending upon the report format chosen.
Use the Reset button to clear all values and select new criteria.

The CAMS VSE Report can be used to provide the information necessary for those institutions who participate in CAE's (Council for Aid to Education) Voluntary Support of Education (VSE) survey. This report should be utilized for the VSE survey rather than the CFAE report. The CFAE report displays, when Cash and Pledges are selected, Gifts and the Pledge amounts and Unpaid Pledge amounts linked to those gifts.
