Canadian Tax Form T2202A
The Canadian Tax Form T2202A reports students’ summed eligible payments on tuition received during a calendar year, as well as summed transactions and enrollment by term. Eligible transactions are defined by checking the T2202A checkbox on the appropriate TransDocs to be included in the T2202A calculation if the term associated with the transaction is within the reported calendar year and the transactions are in the Student Ledger. Institutions may report either Debit transactions (charges) or Credit transactions (payments).
How to Generate T2202A Slip:
Note: All terms that fall chronologically by Term Start Date within the First Term in Calendar Year and the Last Term in Calendar Year will be included on the T2202A Slip.
Note: If T2202A data is exported to the Student Portal, and another data set is created by running the T2202A report again for the same calendar year, the previous data set will be overwritten if you click “Yes” when the “Overwrite Data in Student Portal T2202A Holding Table” confirmation message displays. To leave the original data set in place, click “No” when the confirmation message displays.
